The filter light on my Zip HydroTap® is flashing and the screen on the front of my Zip
Hyrdotap says 'filter change'
Your filter needs to be replaced because your filter life counter has reached its pre-set litres/days
count. Instructions for changing your filter can be found in your User Guide and with your new
filter. For additional information, please refer to our online instruction manuals. Alternatively, you
can contact our service team on 028 92 699200 to book a service technician to change the filter
I have replaced the filter on my Zip HydroTap, but the filter light is still flashing.
When you replace the filter you must also reset both the litre and day the filter counters.

The lights on my Zip HydroTap are not working and the screen on the front of the appliance
says "Program is off cycle".
The 7-day timer has been programmed to turn your Zip HydroTap® off at this time. The timer is
factory-set to operate your appliance 24/7. You can choose to re-programme your Zip HydroTap®
timer to your chosen time settings. Instructions for setting your Zip HydroTap® timer can be
found in your User Guide. For additional information, please refer to our online instruction
How do I operate the safety button?
The safety button is active on the new Zip HydroTap®. This is to prevent accidental operation of
boiling water. To dispense boiling water, press both the boiling water button and the safety
button at the same time.
If you wish, you can disable the safety button on your boiling/chilled HydroTap so that you can
dispense boiling water by pressing only the boiling water button. To do this, press the safety
button and chill button at the same time and hold them down for at least 15 seconds. The safety
function is now disabled.
To disable the safety button on your boiling/filtered HydroTap, locate the child lock function in
the menu and adjust the safety on/off button. It is not possible to disable the safety button on
the Zip Miniboil.
My Zip HydroTap is not working. All the lights on the display are flashing and the display says
"check water supply".
Your water supply may have been turned off. Your Zip HydroTap has not refilled and has timed
out. Check to see if the water supply has been turned off then reset your Zip HydroTap by turning
the power on and off. If the problem reoccurs, contact our service team on 028 92 699200 or
