The Fight againt Bacteria Development
The surfaces of mixers and taps are in constant contact with water and are therefore susceptible to the development of bacteria. Contamination by certain bacteria such as Pseudomonas Aeruginosa (Pyocyanin bacillus) occurs at the water outlet i.e. inside the spout and around the outlet. These bacteria need water and oxygen to develop. BIOCLIP mixer and taps have been specially designed to limit the development of bacteria and can be easily disinfected for preventative or curative purposes.
